Driver’s
safety should be prioritized by the state government. Accidents feel
way too normal for every day drivers and should be handled better it
is used now. Drivers ed should be a huge importance to
reduce the number of deaths on the road. It
is a very big importance for drivers ed because of smarter
drivers on the road it will lead to less crashes and less mistakes
made on the road. The steps that the state government should take are
more
safety precautions, more cops on the road, new street signs, new
rules to be enforced, a better way of at least trying too educating
the masses of new drivers coming in at the age of sixteen, and
enforcing driving school at public schools, as driving instructors
could be very expensive especially for low income families. Yes, I
have been in a car accident once in my entire life. When I was in 2nd
grade my family was driving home from Disney World, a trip we used to
do often. We got halfway through our trip when suddenly my dad’s
car was hit from the backside, and we spun so much in the highway.
This experience has traumatized me sort of when we come back from
Orlando or another trip. The steps I can make by being a better
driver is too watching the traffic signals, not speeding in a road I
think I can speed in since it is very dangerous, being aware of every
car around yours, obeying signs, obeying the laws, no drinking or
consuming any substance before driving, and not being distracted by
your smartphones as this has lead too so many crashes in this new
millennium.
