The
Importance of Driving
It is very important to know how
to drive and be a good driver. I say this because drivers these days
are very reckless. In America, there is an average of 34,000 people
that die in a year due to driving. It is very important to be a safe
driver because it can save your life or whoever is in the car with
you. One important class you should take is drivers ed. It is
important to take that because it tells you what you should do in
certain situations and what you should not do. If people would follow
those rules and obey them we would reduce the death rate resulting in
driving.
The first step is to always keep
your eyes on the road. You should never look down because something
could happen in a split second. The second step would be to never get
on your phone while driving. I have heard about so many accidents and
deaths due to that. It has become so bad, that police are pulling you
over for being on your phone now.
I
have been in a car accident before not of my wrongdoing but another.
I was trying to turn left into a pavilion and the lady to the right
of me tried to make a u-turn in front of me and I collided into her
car. If she would have taken a drivers ed class, she would know
that you are not allowed to do that while driving. Some things that
would help one to be a better driver I would say is to always be
alert. Today some people do not put their signal on and will just
turn in your lane so you will always have to be alert of what is
going on. Drivers ed is essential to everyone especially teens
in knowing the importance of safety.
