Driving
will forever be a privilege that all of us must earn. There is huge
importance behind drivers ed since it reduces the number of
deaths caused by driving incidents. First of all drivers ed
allows you to learn all about the basics and ethics of owning and
driving a car. The rules of the road are introduced to you through
this concept which gives people the opportunity to be a better
driver. Without any of the information provided to people through
drivers ed, many more incidents would occur because of the lack
of knowledge. It is clear that driving education gives people the
opportunity to continue to learn about the rules and the huge
responsibility there truly is behind driving. As more people are
informed, there will be less accidents related to driving since
individuals will be more cautious. A few steps that can be taken to
reduce the number of deaths related to driving include advertising
drivers Ed, school presentations, and implementing stricter rules.
The advertising a drivers Ed Will reduce the number of deaths due to
car accidents because more people will now know that they can get
help when it comes to staying safe on the road. School presentations
will also help because teenage kids will begin to drive soon which
means that they need to get informed and the presentations will help
out with this. As the state implements stricter rules individuals
will realize that safety is a huge concern which is why such
consequences are occurring. thankfully, I have never experienced
being in a car accident and have never seen friends or family members
driving irresponsibly. I have heard of different incidents my friends
have witnessed and it sounds like a very serious topic. most of these
have happened because of distracted driving, which include texting
and driving, drinking and driving, and others. Steps that can be
taken to help others become safer on the road include putting our
funds aside and taking care of each other. Whenever we drive it is
important to turn off my phone so that we aren’t tempted to use
them whether it is to answer a phone call or a text message. The best
thing to do is to completely focus on the road and to be aware of our
surroundings. By doing this we will keep ourselves safe and we won’t
cause accidents since we are paying attention. When it comes to being
responsible and taking care of each other the whole idea is to make
sure individuals are in the right condition to drive. If this isn’t
the case, it is best to tell each other to not get on the road
because we could hurt others and ourselves. Now that I’ve written
this short essay I was able to realize how important it is to be safe
while driving and not get distracted because our families wait for us
every day hoping we get home safe.
