Have
you ever looked out your window? What do you see? Maybe cars? In the
late 1800s, the first car was invented by Karl Benz. Over decades
cars have increasingly become a part of today’s society and a
necessity for transportation. Nevertheless, cars have contributed
positively and negatively to today’s world. Innovations like the
car has sparked issues of distraction and recklessness while driving.

Driving
education is a very crucial part to prevent accidents and fatalities
on the road from happening.

Progressively,
the usage of smartphones has clearly become a major health hazard and
a major part of death related incidents. Texting while driving is
very common, but still no one realizes the number of deaths related
to distractions’ while on the wheel. A possible solution to
increase the number of drivers ed could be to educate drivers
about the consequences of texting while driving, and require drivers
to take monthly lessons & tests to prove their driving
competency. Another solution could be to implement new programs that
encourage the driver to focus on the wheel. I myself have had
experiences of relatives texting while driving or being distracted on
the wheel. It’s a very dangerous scenario. This could be prevented
by mandating driving education to all drivers more frequently, and
evolving authorities for regulation.

So
please, join me in advocating for more drivers ed and eliminate
distracted drivers from the road in the world.
