of Driving Education
Driving
education is one of the most important qualities a person can have.
Driving an automobile is one of the most dangerous ways of travel.
People need to realize how important it is to have a good driving
education. Many deaths in this country are caused by uneducated
drivers, and that is very sad. These deaths could be preventable if
people had the proper driving education. Statistics show how unsafe
people are on the road with the amount of deaths in vehicle
accidents.
Nearly
1.25 million people die in road crashes each year, on average 3,287
deaths a day. An additional 20-50 million are injured or disabled.
More than half of all road traffic deaths occur among young adults
ages 15-44. This is one of the reasons driving education is so
important. These wrecks are usually caused by reckless driving,
driving under the influence, and irresponsible driving. If people
would take at least one driving education class, they would be more
educated in driving and most likely prevent accidents.
Everyone
should take some type of driving class before they get their license.
Most people do, but there are some that do not. Many deaths would be
prevented if people were more educated and safe drivers. There are
many places people can take a driving class. There are driving
classes at high schools, colleges, and even courthouses. If someone
has not taken a driving class they definitely should in the future.
Personally
there has been one wreck that involved me. The person driving the car
ran a stop sign and t-boned a minivan. The woman in the minivan was
very lucky to be alive. That could have been another death added to
the statistics. Everyone in my car was safe and okay, but it could
have been a lot worse. This is just another reason why driving
education is so important.
Don’t
wait until it is too late to take a driving class. This is so
important. It could save so many lives if people knew how to properly
drive. Safety is the most important thing when driving. Buckle up,
pay attention, and be cautious. Nobody wants to be the cause of a
death that could have been preventable.
