Drive Safe. For others. For yourself
There is a great
importance in drivers ed when it comes to reducing the number
of deaths as a result of drving. Taking the time to learn about the
rules of driving saves lives. It might be boring to sit down and read
a book about signs and rules but taking the time to read that book
will prevent you from making a mistake on the road that can cost
someone their future. Rules are in place for a reason, to maintain
order and prevent accidents.I also think it would be a good idea to
enforce punishments for laws that have been broken so people can know
how serious it is. I believe that the written tests shoud be taken
more often to ensure that people remember the current rules and are
informed about new ones. I know that the price to retake these tests
can accumulate so maybe reducing the price can be an incentive for
people to take it. At the end of the day, the important part is that
people know what to do while driving, thus creating safer roads. I
personally have never been in a car accidemt but I have been in a car
with a friend who was drvivng really fast because everyone else was
driving “too slow”. I can personally take a step to make driving
safer for myself and others by studying the book and abiding by the
laws. If I see someone driving recklessly, I will do my part by
telling them what they are doing is wrong and dangerous. I will
remind them that they are putting not only their life at risk but
other people’s lives as well. “Drive safe. For others. For
yourself”
