The importance of
drivers ed in reducing the number of deaths as a result of
driving is it gives new insight on how they are supposed to drive to
keep everyone around them safe. Drivers ed is here to help
as they begin on the highway and major roads. It’s also here to
protect the people who have been driving for a long time by ensuring
them that the newcomers are ready to drive. Steps that can be taken
to reduce the number of deaths related to driving would be to put
down the cell phones. The National safety council reports that cell
phones used while driving lead to 1.6 million crashes each year.
Nearly 390,000 injuries occur each year from accidents caused by
texting while driving. And 1 out of every 4 car and in the United
sttes is caused by texting while driving. I have never been in a car
accident or have seen any friends or family drive irresponsibly. We
believe our safe driving can protect others on the road. Steps that I
can take to become a better and safe driver and to help others become
safe on the road is to drive safe first; follow the rules of the
road. Once I become that better driver then I will be able to help
others by showing them the right way to drive and to be safe.
