A Fun But Scary Tool

On the top of a teenager’s bucket list is being able to drive properly and freely. It is sort of an escape route for many youths from all of their personal problems. However, it is important to notice that driving can often be a repercussion for a death possibility to happen in the future. Although driving is fun and interesting for the first time, it is also an activity to determine how responsible a person is. When driving is done the right way, everyone can live a peaceful and secure life.

Having previous driving education guarantees deaths and injuries to be avoided while on the road. According to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a study has shown that young drivers who have not completed drivers ed are 16% more likely to have an accident (Newsroom.) By getting students more knowledge on how to work with this powerful machine, they will know the do’s and don’ts of driving a car. Also, it will provide a first-hand experience of manually practicing all the safety procedures while on the road. All in all, it is best to start driving by actually going through an education to acquire such skill.

Driving is unpredictable. You never know what can happen next either to you or someone else. Therefore, it is important to take the right steps in order to avoid the high risk of death. One of the most common reasons that is correlated to the fatalities in car accidents is distracted driving. While handling a vehicle, a phone call or text is definitely not worth taking your life or anyone else’s. In addition, many people do not know the rules and the significance behind various driving signs. As stated before, driving education will cause the rules to be learned and the insecurities to be carried away. Working on how to get away from these actions is the very first initiative to grow into an enhanced driver.

Talking about the aspects of driving, my family members, friends, or myself have never experienced any car accidents. Since I personally relate myself with cautious and safe people, I am grateful that no one I know has gotten into any kind of vehicle accident. Because my relatives are safe and knowledgeable, I am confident I can be the same since surrounding myself with good advice always turns for the best. I am proud to be a part of a family and different friendships that take precautions seriously and value the right to live.

To become a better driver, one must improve in their routine and behavior drastically. One way I can do this is by avoiding driving when there are a lot of passengers in the vehicle. Since I tend to get disconcentrated from talking to others, I can potentially be a danger to myself, the passengers, and people walking by my path. Therefore, limiting the amount of people in the car will enable me to focus better on the road. Another way I can operate a car safely is by staying away from driving when I am drowsy. I will admit that sometimes I have had days where I am “out and about” while feeling sleepy. Although some days can take a huge toll, taking a rest from driving will help me cope with my mental state and keep me out of danger.

In the end, I sincerely hope that young adolescents take whatever means necessary to turn into better drivers. It will teach future generations that responsibility is one of the most rewarding characteristics a person can ever have. Driving proves that it is an essential skill in life that must be mastered fully before moving on to bigger obstacles. The world is dealing with a lot of problems at the moment, so making sure that teenagers know how to act behind the wheel will ease the difficulties we confront today.
