Have you ever wondered or sat down and done the research based on how safe driving could limit your chances of getting hurt or limit the chances of you hurting others in an automobile accident.

There are various types of drivers on the road. Some drivers are Professional and so at driving , some just got their driving license, some have health problems that allow them to drive but with restrictions. Also people are on the road for several reasons. Some are on their way home, some getting late to their workplaces, some on the way to hospital with sick loved ones or in an emergency . When you are on the road you have to be considerate of the safety of others . Not everyone drives the same way some people drive crazy and unsafe . Pro drivers like to drive slightly above the speed limit, while for novice drivers it’s sometimes hard to do the speed limit or make the turn in a short time. If you are not considerate and instantly reach a decision that the driver in front of you is trying to slow you down and make a move on them, that easily can cost a life. Last year when I drove down to my Grams house . When we were in nahunta ga , it started to rain very heavily. It is important to turn the headlights on when it’s raining or snowing. It was raining so heavily that we couldn’t see very far. The road was a 55 mph highway and we were driving 45 mph as the visibility was low. Suddenly we noticed someone ran a red light at a four-way dangerously and they almost clipped my car on the passenger side. In that heavy rain they didn’t turn their emergency on.

While they were in a hurry they were ahead almost out of sight when a cop flipped his blue lights. Everyone’s life is full of frustration but we should not be frustrated no matter how many mistakes other drivers make. Having great driving skills does not make someone a good driver, in order to be a good driver someone needs to be patient. A good driver’s main goal is to drive home safe while ensuring other drivers safety. We have to be very cautious while driving. If because of us someone gets hurt, then it initially can affect the whole family. A car is not just a transportation device, it’s a wapen and miss use of it can easily cost few lives. Our life has become very competitive, competition is everywhere.

We all want to be first in every race. We often forget that reaching our own destination is not a race. If someone is driving first or slow it is their own choice. Traffic law enforcement officers are assigned to ensure the law of the road, not individual drivers. If someone passes you, doesn’t mean they are winning a race. Oftentimes people miss their bright. When someone passes them, they take offence and turn on their brights which can cause temporary blindness and fatal accidents. There should be complete education on proper use of brights. We need to completely focus on driving while we are on the road. Text and phone calls can wait. If necessary drivers should pull on the shoulder or resting areas. Everyone should call for a friend or family member while they are intoxicated. I believe there should be a free online driving awareness every year for every driver.
