Drivers Ed is the simple crucial solution

The importance of driver education and driver awareness in reducing the immensely high number of deaths that result from everyday driving is vital to the lives of all drivers, especially younger drivers. Proper driver’s education and ample driving experience behind the wheel is a crucial yet simple solution to aid in reducing accidents while driving. There are a plethora of different ways to reduce the number of deaths that are caused or related to driving, some of these include better, more in depth training for new drivers, stricter policies and punishments for drivers caught driving recklessly or putting others in danger with their driving, and more driving tests and courses that those caught driving recklessly would need to attend and pass before getting their license back.

While I have never personally been in a car accident I have seen friends drive irresponsibly and some even get pulled over and I have recommended to them to drive more cautiously not just for their safety but for the safety of everyone on the road. There are many steps that I, along with everyone else who is a driver, can take to be better and safer drivers, some of these are simple like following the rules of the road and paying attention to road signs, and others are harder for some people to do like not looking at your phone while driving and always keeping your eyes on the road continually scanning for any potential hazards or warnings of danger.

Overall, I believe with more education and training for drivers along with drivers being more responsible and aware of what is happening around them, we as a country can cut down the deaths related to driving and hopefully stop this crucial issue nationwide.
