Distracted Driving Ruins Lives

Drivers education is so important to reducing the amount of deaths due to driving because without educating drivers of the risks involved, deaths will only increase. Steps that can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving would be simply getting the word out about how important safe undistracting driving is. Distracted driving is such a big issue today especially among young people. I almost lost my brother to distracted driving four years ago. He was on the phone while driving and did not see a car coming when he made a left turn across traffic. My brothers car was hit on the side by a car going 68 MPH and it is by the grace of God he walked away without a single scrape. Since that accident I have made it my mission to speak out on distracted driving in hopes that it saves someone somewhere. I plan to continue to speak out and be a voice for all those lives lost to unsafe driving. I will not stop educating others until every single person I have met understands the risks of driving and how to be safe about it.
