Driver Education Initiative Essay

Safety is one of the most important parts of driving. Your safety, your passenger’s safety, and the safety of those around you. It’s clear to see some don’t follow the rules of the road and safety tips when looking at the amount of driving related deaths. There’s an importance of drivers education that keeps you and others safe, that helps lower driving related deaths. Driver’s education teaches us how to safely operate a vehicle, the rules of the road, and what to do in a number of life or death situations. Some steps to reduce driving related deaths would be, making all teenagers/new drivers take drivers education, classes like 911 driving school, and not letting them get there license till they pass. Encouraging older drivers to learn safer driving techniques and more enforcement on dangerous road acts, such as driving while texting. I myself have never been in a car accident but my parents and sister have all been in accidents that totaled their cars, wreaks that could’ve been avoided by driving more responsibly. To encourage road safety the steps we can take are pretty similar to the reducing driving related deaths in fact they are the same, required drivers education courses, better law enforcement, and teaching older drivers safer ways to drive.
