Reasons Why I practice being safe on the road

As someone who is still practicing being a safe driver and earning my official driver’s licence, it is important that the knowledge and education that is being taught at the DMV helps keep me, you , your passengers, other drivers, their passengers, the environment, the roads, the pedestrians, and yours and others vehicles safe,

A couple steps/ideas that can possibly reduce driving accidents or death by driving is to take classes: specifically driving lessons, at your local DMV. YOu can also consider thinking logically such as cause and effect on the road. You shouldn’t be thinking about anything else, unless it is about your driving, the road’s situation and/or condition and the road signs. Another way to reduce death related to driving is to always buckle yourself and your passengers, use working seat belts, appropriate car seats for children 4 and under and certified seatbelts that are approved by major car manufacturing companies. A rule of thumb that I use is to not touch your phone when getting into the driver’s seat. Also, I consider my body’s condition when getting into the driver’s seat. If I don’t consider these variables, it can lead to mine and the deaths and injuries of others.

Some occurrences that I have personally experienced of close car accidents was very heart wrenching and sends signals of distress to my mind and body. One time, my sisters and I were on our ways to The Mall of America in Mn. Upon us exiting up to another road, we made a left and entered the road. To the late response of our mistake, we were now on the oncoming traffic side of the road. To our luck, there was yet to be any cars coming. Unfortunately, there was a car following behind us. My sister realised this and made a right on the next street. But for the car behind us, it needed to make a left turn and was stopped at the intersection because there were cars getting closer to it. The oncoming traffic was nice enough to let that car make it’s turn and we left the street with no accidents. If we paid attention to our turning lane and our surroundings, we would have never been in that close accident situation.

At another time, my mom and I made our way to a relative’s house to drop food off. We made a left turn at the lights and as we got close to the next street’s intersection, a car merged into our lane from the left and almost t-boned our car in the rear side. Luckily, my mom and I left the street without a scratch because she sped up and avoided a collision. If she didn’t react fast enough, we would have gotten into an accident and had injuries.

Due to these almost incidents, I have learned and promised myself that I would take these small steps to prevent an accident. I plan to train myself in responding fast enough in a potential dangerous or dangerous situation when I am the driver’s seat or by reckless cars. I also plan to be alert of my situation and the road’s conditions and situations.I plan to consider my energy level’s cycle so that I can drive safely for myself and others on the road. Along with the previous mentioned plans, I plan to keep my vehicle up to date and have good maintenance of my vehicle. But these are only a few key plans that I listed.
