Safe driving is up to each and every individual on the road. Driving safe is important because it prevents any injuries while driving, and it impedes the number of car collisions. Every driver, when driving, should obtain the knowledge of road signs and regulations and actually comprehend the importance of safe driving. Drivers should have empathy and think about others and how their reckless driving will affect others on the road. In high school, or anytime, drivers will take a driver’s education course. This course helps to give people an insight into driving and how to safely do it. Driving is the most important thing and yet the scariest thing someone can do. It comes with a lot of responsibility and it takes practice. This driver’s education course is very important because it can help better drivers and it may also reduce the number of deaths when driving. Each person taking this course will learn about the necessary precautions to be safe when on the road and will enforce and apply those same rules learned to be safer and responsible on the road.

When looking at the death rates and car collisions that go on, we often think about why or what caused this to happen? Why did someone have to get hurt or lose a life due to reckless and irresponsible driving? There are many steps and such that are in place to help create a better driving environment. For example, driving distracted is a major cause when it comes to driving. People get so distracted trying to do other things in the car when they should really be keeping their main focus on the road. This results in more deaths than speeding and driving under the influence. When getting behind the wheel, others need to ensure that they have their mind focused on driving and that only. Safe driving is contingent upon the drivers mind and their ability to think. It will also reduce the number of death rates by obeying the traffic laws that are out in place for the safety of all US citizens. It will also be important to drive when well rested and avoid the many distractions while on the road. Staying alert while driving is important because you need to look out for yourself and others around you while driving to prevent the cause of accidents.

Many people experience traumatizing experiences when riding in the car with others. I know many people who drive irresponsibly, but never take responsibility for their actions. But I have a family that respects the rules of the law and ensures the safety of others while I am in the car. Always make sure that you never drive when physically or mentally impaired. Being aware of other drivers as well as your own driving and staying in your own lane is important when becoming a better driver. Safely sharing the road and never becoming distracted while driving is important in being a safe and responsible driver.
