Reducing traffic accidents and fatalities remains one of the most prevalent issues among motorists today, especially teen drivers. Therefore, it is important to continue educating teen drivers on the causes of traffic accidents and fatalities, just as my high school driver's education teacher did by having my peers and me compile an accident booklet that delved into researching teen-related traffic accidents and fatalities and the causes behind them. This research showed that teen motorists can contribute to traffic safety by reducing speed, avoiding distracted driving, especially distracted driving involving the use of electronic devices, and watching the road for the presence of other aggressive drivers and adjusting their driving habits accordingly.
