Fear? Not if you are driving the right way!

Drivers ed classes are a way of making the roads safer and a way to reduce the number of teenagers involved in accidents every year. Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for U.S. teens. The completion of a driver’s training course prior to obtaining a license will help adolescents develop basic vehicle control and traffic maneuverability. It educates students how to drive a vehicle securely on packed interstates, around evening time, and in certain hazardous driving conditions which will reduce the number of accidents. Taking drivers ed helps you to experience driving on the road with a good knowledge of the laws. It gives you the confidence you need to drive on the road. A confident driver equals a safer driver. Trusting in your driving abilities helps you to react more peacefully and instinctively in tough driving conditions, the more experience you have, the safer you can perform when driving and avoid incidents from happening.

Steps can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving. Raising awareness among teens and parents. Strengthen implementation of current laws. Teens need to make the best decisions. Choose not to drink and drive. Know the laws and follow them. Always wear your seat belt. Respect Speed Limit. Never use your phone while driving. Health practitioners should teach parents and teenagers about drinking and driving. Parents need to lead by example as responsible drivers. Methods to minimize a car accident are always insisting that all passengers buckle in every seat. Don’t even step behind the wheel if you’re influenced by alcohol or other substances. Always — even if it may be problematic — use a designated driver to guarantee that both you and others arrive safely at your location. Always drive at a speed that makes you 100% comfortable. Don’t ever overestimate your multitasking capability. If you believe that might be too hard to wait for a text message or phone call, get off the road and get your car to a complete and secure stop. Note that when it comes to distracted driving, your mobile phone isn’t the only one to blame. Distractions such as eating, applying makeup, may draw your eyes and minds off the road. Enough though I haven’t been involved in a car accident I always take precaution when my parents are driving.

The measures that can be taken to minimize the amount of driving-related accidents are the organization of traffic and public protection programs to improve confidence and ethics among people. We will improve traffic injuries by providing people more knowledge regarding traffic health, enhancing instruction in driving schools and educating students more. Improving road conditions: the government will give greater attention to road surfaces and night lighting.
