mask during this time. As a living testimony drivers ed taught me the
ropes to driving as well as the consequences to the decisions we take
behind the wheel. The factual lessons and the statistics they teach,
tell us that YOUNG adults are more likely to be in a car accident
than any other age category.

sitting in the back seat? most likely “No”. So we have no
knowledge of particular matters. Some big no no’s for driving are
driven to the limit posted. Many don’t pay attention and speed near
school areas where there are many pedestrians around. Another big one
is left turns on green. Sometimes there may be situations where you
get the sign to go but so does the car across from you. If they are
going straight it is very crucial for you to know that straight
always goes first no matter the sign. This is one of the most known
reasons many crash at stop lights. Just because you have the sign to
do your left turn doesn’t mean go. Pay attention to the cars
across from you when taking a left. For me the biggest take away from
drivers ed was under the influence lesson. A handful of young adults
choose to go down this path and end up fatally hurt or financially
drowning with the law. Take it from me, for many years my family lost
cars, jobs, and homes due to this one choice. Driving under the
influence and driving with a suspended license. We struggled to do
the essentials like paying for rent or for food that month. The
biggest reason why my dad urges many young adults to do the things
right such like doing drivers ed, getting your permit, and finally
your license. I saw him struggle to clean his record for years either
serving time in jail or paying.

So I urge you to do things right because you won’t always have to
pay tickets. Take a drivers ed course, get your permit, practice
safely with a lienced parent, and finally go in for the behind the
wheel test for your license. Be smart and do things the right way.
