Taking Precautions while driving.

Driving
is stimulated to be all about concentration but even with it you can
lose sight in a split second.

From
experience, at the age of 17, I was driving on the road when I hit
the back of someone’s vehicle.

I
heard a beep from my phone and I looked but just for a second. Alot
of things can occur in a second.

While
sitting in the driver’s seat with an airbag in my face I was aware
that I allowed for a text to cause my accident.

Moreover,
with the experience of an accident that could’ve been prevented I
endured a lesson that a text isn’t worth your life or the people
surrounding you. Given the opportunity, I took drivers ed
in highschool. They informed me about the basics and omitted out
information that I would need to know when going on the road. Driver
education is important because what you learn helps impact your
actions in order for you to make sure you are taking precaution to
stay safe while on the road. Driving classes play a significant role
in helping society decrease death rate due to car accidents. The
evaluation of preventive measures to reduce the number of deaths will
be reduced. Although there have been rules that have been enforced
they are still car accidents related to distractions.

One
step can bring you two steps forward. By taking action we should
have a law that requires everyone to take a drivers ed class.
Implying a safety mindset when driving can be the first step to take
control.

Along
with making sure you’re not driving while your phone is in your
hand. I would prefer to lead by example, spreading the word to
promote safelty in my community. The smallest steps can improve
your safety when driving.

Most
importantly, I will make sure to put my phone on do not disturb
while driving.I will follow every precaution to make sure my life
and others lives aren’t taken away from something that could’ve
been prevented. What we don’t fail to reliaze is that texting
while driving increases the risk of accidents 25.2 times over
unpairmed driving. Instead of being pertub about the accident, I
used the experience to help influence others. I knew that I didn’t
want to ever have to have an airbag in my face again.

Likewise,
The feeling was unbearable but the traumatic event I was able to
get through. A week ago, I was in the car with my brother, He was
down from college and I remember him texting while at the red
light. I looked at him in astonishment and I told him that even if
you’re at a stoplight that you should avoid texting . He assured
me he would take the advice. The greatest feeling is when you can
help someone when needed the most. With, one helping hand the world
can be a better place and you can save lives.
