Safety First

Drivers ed is important in reducing deaths while driving, because it teaches each driver the basics on how to use their car, and how to use it safely. Although we have classes for safe driving, many people still die each year from car accidents. Steps individuals can take to reduce the number of deaths are: instead of texting and driving, use a voiceover on the car, or turn your phone off, and instead of driving impaired use an uber, or call a friend. There are many things we can do in order to drive safely, many just have to push themselves past the instant pleasure of things that cause otherwise. Winter of 2017 my best friend Ella was in a terrible accident, and almost died. Instead of dying she was in a coma for two months and has had a long journey ahead of her. To this day I will continue to drive safely and encourage others to do the same.
