The Importance of Driver Education

There are many possible solutions to the rate of deaths in automobile related incidents, but by far the most important, would be to provide a better education of driving to people on the road. If more drivers were better informed of the laws and consequences of violating those laws the death rate related to driving would plummet tremendously. Perhaps more focus should be put on the quality of the process of which a person would attain their license. If that process were to be improved there would be more educated and aware drivers on the road, and thus, lowering the likelihood of them being in a fatal car accident. There are many situations where drivers are unfamiliar with how to handle a certain situation while driving. For example, one of my now deceased cousins a couple of years ago, was out for a night of driving and totaled his car. He had apparently not been informed of how to drive properly at a roundabout and ended up getting into a wreck with someone. This has led me to spend more time educating myself and all of the knowable driving laws so that I may not repeat the mistakes of my late cousin. I hope to have made an impact on whoever may read this and may lead you to practice better driving habits, and perhaps educate yourself more on the laws of the road, so that we may work to lessen the death toll brought by car accidents.
