Change Your Habits

I
remember in Drivers Ed it was the first day the class was going to
drive in the cars. I was so full of nerves because I didn’t want to
mess up. Of course, I practiced driving with my mom but this time was
different. Everyone was standing around and the instructor was ready
for someone to go first. No one wanted to go so I took the courage of
going first. It wasn’t as bad as I thought because soon I saw that
some of my classmates were not good drivers. Over time while driving
in the car, I have gotten better and learned how to drive within the
speed limit. I’m not the type of person who would speed or drive
wild. I have been in the car with friends and family who would drive
so fast I thought we would crash. Some of my friends are always on a
person’s bumper that I have to tell them to stop doing that because
you don’t know when they are going to break. I have always cautioned
them to slow down because we are not in a race or a hurry to get to
where we are going. Most of them tell me about the time where they
had got speeding tickets and how fast they were going. It can be
scary being in the passenger seat with someone who drives recklessly.
I have a friend who changed her driving habits because she doesn’t
want to get another speeding ticket. It’s a great thing to see that
someone can change their ways for the better.
