Driving Education Importance

The importance of drivers ed in reducing the number of deaths
as a result of driving is to show people how important it is to drive
safely and to protect your self and others on the road. Taking a
course in driving education and learning about the number of
accidents and causes of them, tends to open people’s eyes and
realize how serious it really is. Certain steps can be taken to
reduce the number of deaths related to driving, such as making sure
you wear your seatbelt, and the biggest one is no texting and
driving. Most driving deaths are caused by distracted driving such as
texting or playing on your phone while driving, or something else
that could make you lose focus on the road. Those steps can be taken
to make sure your wearing your seatbelt and keeping your phone out of
reach while you are trying to drive or avoid and sort of distractions
in the car.

I personally
have experienced being in the car with someone who has bee driving
irresponsibly, most of my friends when they drive either speed, or
mess with their phone, or just easily get distracted on miniscule
things. I always must bring it to their attention to how dangerous
they are being and that they need to change what they are doing. The
steps I can take to be a better and safer driver is to make sure I’m
always wearing my seatbelt, I’m aware of my surroundings on the
road and I’m not getting distracted easily such as by my cellphone.
If I continue to do all these things, I keep myself and others on the
road safe from any harm or accidents.
