The Importance of Drivers ed.

how to drive is a time in someone’s life that they always look
forward to. It is a sign a freedom from home and the ability to go to
far away places. However, what many people forget in the process, is
the true importance. Lives are at risk and therefore a high level of
maturity must be present. It is important to understand why we take
drivers ed, how we can become better drivers, and where why we
should tell others about it. Drivers ed encourages and educated
safer drivers on the road so that they may understand road signs,
laws, and how to properly operate a vehicle in different conditions
and situations. This creates a safer environment on the roads,
reducing the number of deaths as it demonstrates the importance of
safe driving. Drivers ed also educates us on how to be proper
pedestrians, making sure that we are not an inconvenience to drivers.
To create an even safer driving environment and reduce the number of
deaths, we should enforce safer, possibly less, driving for both the
younger and older age of drivers. We should also enforce more safety
features on vehicles. Most deaths come from distracted or drunk
driving. To reduce these problems, we should enforce or create more
laws concerning distracted driving, while also encourage the use of
other drivers around bars or other places that sell alcohol. I have
thankfully never personally been in a car accident. However, I have
witnessed others around take part in irresponsible driving. This is
sometimes due to immaturity or distracted driving. Different steps
that I can take to be better driver would be making sure that I am
not distracted. This may mean keeping all distractions out of sight
and sound, keeping the vehicle in good driving condition, and taking
breaks when needed.
