Safe Driving

The
importance of drivers ed is keeping the community safe while
getting from place to place. If we as a whole can keep drivers doing
the correct things we can decrease the amount of accidents therefore
reducing driver involved deaths. The following steps can be used to
enforce driver safety. Shut all mobile devices down or put them into
a driving mode. Why can’t vehicles have a device in the vehicle
that disables all phones automatically? That would fix many of the
problems. Try to delay all eating and drinking until before or after
going on the road. Also, many vehicles have hands-free devices
installed in the electronics of the vehicle. These devices help
drivers pay attention to the road and lets the vehicle control
communications. People need to allow their vehicles to assist them
on “necessary” communications, and not just random communication.
It allows the driver to text through voice to text data which is a
great tool but I think nobody should be allowed to text and drive in
the first place. Neither my family or I have ever been involved in a
car accident but I realize many accidents are caused through cell
phone usage. The best way to help others become a safer driver is
to be a good example for them and never be a distracted driver!
