Even the Innocent Suffer

Around
the world, there are over a million deaths on average related to road
crashes each year. This shocking but realistic statistic paints a
picture of the dangers posed in driving on the road. Drivers ed
is crucial as it reduces fatality rates in teens, those most at risk.
This story begins with a man named Mike, a young adult living in
California. Mike has a beautiful wife named Veronica and an angelic
little girl named Mia. Mike took a drivers ed class as a
teen and it has helped him a lot since he commutes a long way to
work. Drivers ed is treasure since knowledge to take on the
road keeps the driver and the people around him or her safe. Mike is
a very busy person, like most people today, but he is pleased with
the life he leads with his family.

Just
like any other day, Mike wakes up and gets ready for work. He says
goodbye to his lovely family and heads out to his job site. Mike
works about an hour and a half away from his house, but he perseveres
through it for the pay he receives, needed to support his family.
Drivers ed is essential because it teaches safety and prepares
drivers for the road to keep all people nearby safe. A young and
inexperienced teen is on the road for the first time after deciding
to take his brother’s car out for a drive. This young teen misses a
stop sign on the street and T-bones into Mike. That morning Veronica
receives a call from the police department about the death of her
beloved husband, Mike. Sometimes life is unfair and punishes the
innocent. This death and many others could have been avoided with
proper drivers ed and a responsible attitude behind the wheel.
Using a phone while driving, not paying attention to road signs,
driving under the influence, and many other actions could all have
been avoided to prevent deaths.

Though
this story was a made-up scenario, there are many stories like this
one that really do exist. There are many families out there in pain
due to the loss of a beloved family member and an innocent driver on
the road. We should all have a proper drivers ed before
getting on the road to avoid tragedies that can occur at any moment.
All drivers should be concentrated on the road and have a proper
drivers ed to make sure everyone on the road can get home
to their families. We must pass the word on and tell our close
friends and families about having the right attitude and mindset
while driving.
